Nazarene Archives ep 12: 1980 General Assembly Farewell Address - G. B. Williamson

On today’s episode, listen to G. B. Williamson’s farewell address to the General Assembly in Kansas City in 1980.
G. B. Williamson served the Church of the Nazarene as a pastor, college president of Eastern Nazarene College, and General Superintendent. He was elected to be general superintendent in 1946 at that time he was serving as pastor of Kansas City First Church. After serving as a General Superintendent he went on to teach at Nazarene Bible College. Where he taught from 1968 to 1980.

Nazarene Archives ep 6: The Scandal of the Cross - William Greathouse

On Today’s episode, listen to William Greathouse preach on the “Scandal of the Cross.” Greathouse preached this sermon, as the first of a series of sermons, on the cross during Holy Week in 1976 at Shawnee Church of the Nazarene. Over the next few weeks and months Holiness Today will make available the following sermons in this series on this podcast.
Greathouse was a pastor, teacher, and leader of the Church of the Nazarene. He served as a pastor from 1938 to 1963, and then was elected president of Trevecca Nazarene College. In 1968 he was elected to be president of Nazarene Theological Seminary and in 1976, only a few months after this sermon series, the general assembly elected William Greathouse to be a general superintendent.
