Global Theology Conference Session Three: Holy People
In this session, Rob Fringer presents his paper "A Broken-Holy People: A Biblical Plea for God's Holy People to Embrace A less Perfect Perfection" and Stanley Bhebhe presents his paper "God's Eternal Project: Gathering, Shaping and Molding A Holy People for God's Pleasure." Responses to these papers are given by Timothy Gaines, Jacob Lett, Eudo Prado, and Mauricio Ricaldi. Moderated by Peter Rae.
*The theme for the conference is “In the Power of the Spirit” (Luke 4:14). The format of the conference is developed around three main sessions. Each main session will have two presenters and four responders who have been selected to represent each of the six world regions. There is also time planned that provides an opportunity for all participants to engage in reflection and discussion in other plenary sessions and small groups. The themes for the three main sessions are: Session 1: “In the Power of the Spirit – Holy Spirit;” Session 2“In the Power of the Spirit – Holy People;” and Session 3: “In the Power of the Spirit – Hope of New Creation.”
The papers have been published online in Didache: Faithful Teaching (http://didache.nazarene.org). The presenter’s papers were published in Volume 22, Number 1 and the response papers were published in Volume 23, Number 2.
